Ride For Doug was an idea born when the pain of a cry for help met the roaring thunder of a biker's resolve.  Doug is, and always will be, my Little Biker.  He was a perfectly happy 2 year old - fascinated with motorcycles - when the shock of a Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy diagnosis rocked our world.  Our world was turned upside down faster than a high side at Sears Point. 

We selected Muscular Dystrophy Canada as the benificiary for Ride For Doug.  This is because MDC works directly with the people who need it the most.  The people you are raising money for are the neuromuscular patients in the Greater Vancouver Area.   Doug's friends.  These are real people.  Real people with hopes and dreams.  Real people with real challenges.  Most of what is contributed directly benefits those who are suffering the most through education, quality of life assistence, and social interactions not otherwise possible.  Some money goes to research for a cure.  Let's make muscles move.
